When is Check-in/Check-out?

What if the office is closed when we arrive?

Give us a call at 515-987-1714 and let us know that you will be arriving after office hours. We will be happy to make arrangements for your check-in.


What are the office/store hours?*
Summer Hours:

May 1st-September 30th:

8am-8pm (Sunday-Thursday)

8am-10pm (Friday and Saturday)

Winter Hours:

October 1st- April 30th: 9am-5pm

*Hours may vary depending on weather


How much do the sites cost?

What if we need to cancel our reservations?

Please call the office to let us know you need to cancel.

Refund policy:

NO REFUND for 7 days or less cancellation for RV/tent sites

$20 cancellation fee for nightly RV/tent sites

$50 cancellation fee for weekly RV/tent sites

$100 cancellation fee for monthly RV/tent sites

NO REFUND for 14 days or less cancellation for cabins rentals

$50 cancellation fee for cabin rentals

NO REFUND on Holiday Weekends or State Fair Dates.

NO REFUND for early departure


Can we reserve a group reservation?

Yes, you can! Please call the office at 515-987-1714 to make any group reservations.


Can we bring our pets?

Yes, friendly pets are always welcome. Pets are permitted on a leash (8′ max) and are not to be left unattended. Clean up after your pet. Violators will be charged a cleanup fee. Please keep pets out of buildings, playground, and pool. Management reserves the right to limit size, breed, and quantity of dogs. Dog park available.


What do the cabins include?

Primitive Cabins:

Cabins 1, 2 and 3 are nestled against the woods and are primitive. They include a double bed, bunk beds and a desk and chair. These cabins have small front porch area with chairs, as well as a picnic table and fire ring. Must bring your own bedding.

Deluxe Small Furnished Cabins:

Small cabins have a deck, queen bed, separate room with bunk beds, dining table with 4 chairs, small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and hotel size fridge. They also have a private patio area overlooking the pond with a picnic table, 4 chairs and fire pit. You will need to supply your own bedding and bathroom towels.

Deluxe Furnished Cabins:

These cabins have a deck, living area with a couch, dining room table with 4 chairs, a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top (no oven) and coffee pot, dishes and pots and pans. The master bedroom has a queen bed, couch folds out to a queen and the loft has 2 twin mattresses with room for a full size blow up. They also have a private patio area by the pond with a picnic table, 4 chairs and fire pit. Please note that Cabin 10 is a similar layout, but more rustic and sits in the back of the campground facing the trees. You will need to supply your own bedding and bathroom towels.
